I am hosting events. Can I use Barberry Companion? Or is this tool unique for Barberry Garden events?
We want to make Barberry Companion accessible for everyone. Yet it is still in heavy development, so it is not publicly available. That being said, we would love to get first users once we get closer to MVP. Get in touch with Boris if you are hosting wine tasting events and want to use Barberry Companion. You can also help with UX, QA and development.
How much does Barberry Companion costs?
Today it is free. Both for participants and hosts. We have several ideas on how to monetize the application, yet none of them include selling any personal data to third parties.
Is my personal data safe? What about my tasting history, including events I attend and scores?
Your personal data is safe. Period. The only thing we can reveal to publicity is aggregated data, which is anonymised.
What about data posted in Barberry Garden? I see you include names in the score board. Seems like it contradicts to the previous claim.
That claim was about data stored in Barberry Companion. I get verbal or written concent before posting any name in my blog. Keep in mind that I am not going to post in the blog arbitrary events hosted via Barberry Companion. I am post only events that I host.
